Meeting of Oleg Tsvigun with Akhmet Palankoev was held in Moscow on 05.03.2012
On March 5, 2012, a meeting of Oleg Tsvigun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of LLC "ImpexTrade", with Akhmet Palankoev, Chairman of the Russian and Turkish Business Council, Member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, was held in Moscow.
In the course of the meeting Mr. Tsvigun told about the activity of the company, its prospects for further development, and the iron and steel scrap market condition and trends.
The primary iron and steel scrap export direction from the ports of the Don basins is the Republic of Turkey. In addition to iron and steel scrap, coal of the Don basin, steel products, metallurgical coke, and oil products are exported to Turkey.
The possibilities to enhance direct Russian and Turkish business ties, to arrange joint meetings and events involving representatives of the business community and public authorities and their colleagues in the Southern region of Russia were also deliberately reviewed. In the opinion of the sides, such active contacts will contribute greatly to the increased trade flow between the countries, involvement of new participants – both Russian and Turkish enterprises and organizations – into foreign trade relationships.
Based on the results of the meeting, an agreement was reached on entry of
LLC "ImpexTrade" into the member list of the Russian and Turkish Business Council.
At the end of the discussion, Oleg Tsvigun thanked Mr. Palankoev for his particular attention to the issues related to development of the Russian and Turkish business ties in the south of Russia, his readiness to further utmost assistance to progress and improvement thereof, and for the decision to accept OOO "ImpexTrade" to be the member of the Russian and Turkish Business Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. Mr. Tsvigun also pointed out that OOO "ImpexTrade" will keep on making every effort on their side to develop export and import trade opportunities between
the Russian Federation (primarily the southern regions: Rostov region, Krasnodar and Stavropol territories, the Republic of Ingushetia) and the Republic of Turkey.
