In March of current year, according to r/w and customs statisticians (on Customs Union countries), volumes of export of a steel scrap from the Russian Federation came to 321,3 thousand tons.

It on 10,3 % above volumes of shipments of the last month, but on 1,3 % below an indicator of March of last year.

For January-March volumes of shipments have made 941,8 thousand tons, that on 3,8 % below a similar indicator of last year. Levels 2009 and 2010 are exceeded approximately in 2 times, however in relation to corresponding periods of pre-crisis 2006-2008 volumes of deliveries were reduced on the average to 39 %.

Approximately 41 % of all shipments this year had been shipped to Turkey. Thus, in comparison with the same period of last year, volumes of deliveries to this country were reduced to 9 %. On the second place - Republic Belarus, volumes of export is 194,2 thousand tons, (-4,9 %). On the third place - Republic Korea (106,8 thousand tons, +26,7 %).
