The Turkish steelmaking companies increase volume of stocks of a steel scrap, using the low prices for the American steel scrap because of internal crisis of overproduction and reduction in demand.

Now the average price for steel scrap delivery to Turkey makes $383/per mt for CFR basis. Last fixed standard item has made 12 cargoes, from them 6 has been sent from the USA, the others – from Europe. Turkey also imports a steel scrap from Russia and Romania at the average price of $360/per mt
