In May of current year, in accordance of information from customs and RW (on Customs union countries) statistics, volumes of export of a steel scrap from the Russian Federation have reached 450 thousand tons. It on 2 % above volumes of shipments of the last month, but on 10 % below an indicator of May of last year.

For January-May volumes of shipments have made 1,83 million tons that on 6,4 % below a similar indicator of last year. Levels 2009 and 2010 are exceeded approximately in 2 and 1,4 times.

Approximately 40 % of all shipments this year are carried out to Turkey. Thus in comparison with the same period of last year volumes of deliveries in this country were reduced all to 0,2 %. On the second place - Republic Belarus, volumes of export in which have made 451,7 thousand tons, (-25 %). On the third place - Republic Korea (183 thousand tons, +9,7 %).
